What to do when there is not "power" button~ or when the power button "isn't working"

Here's a tip that the manufacturers often fail to share, or just expect you to know:

When there's no marked power button..HOLD DOWN THE PLAY BUTTON TO TURN PORTABLE DEVICES ON AND OFF...

Also, if you press a power button and nothing happens, hold down the power button for a count of 3 or more and it will engage the power and turn on your device.

Patience is a good thing.
