When I started simplifying technology, it was hard to find help. Manufacturers and writers are starting to catch on and some are doing a pretty good job of explaining technology (or at least describing it). Today there are sites with videos, diagrams, tutorials and wizards to help make it simple for you to hook up, use or choose the right TV and components for your budget and needs.

Still, you have to FIND THEM. Toward my mission of helping you get the most from your technology, I will scan the Internet for technology sites, videos and other how-to's that are relatively simple. And when possible (and when needed), I'll help with some translation to make them even simpler.

I have chosen not to get heavily involved in reviewing new technolgies. Rather, I explain what the new gadgets do for you and how to get the most out of them.
